Peter Kuo for SenateAs an immigrant who came to this beautiful state over three decades ago, the California I know today is very different from the California I knew 35 years ago. We are facing ever increasing crimes, millions of uninsured and underinsured drivers, skyrocketing health insurance premiums, and unprecedented natural disasters.

One might ask, “What does any of these have to do with the office for which you are running?” The answer is simple: We are seeing a large increase in property crimes which results in huge losses for the insurance industry; uninsured and underinsured motorists are causing both economic and physical harm to the law abiding consumers; the ACA (Affordable Care Act) has simply failed to keep health insurance “affordable”; and unpredictable natural disasters such as Santa Rosa fire could eventually cause insurers to leave the market place altogether.

As an insurance agent for 24 years, I have the firsthand experience of knowing the pain point for both the consumers, the insurance industry, and the professional agents. Consumers, insurance companies and the agents are like a three legged stool—one cannot stand without the other. We need to solve these issues before the entire system collapses.
I want to bring my 24 years of experience in insurance, in customer service, and in innovative technology to Sacramento to serve the insurance consumers of California. Let’s make the Golden State Golden Again. #GSGA
